What advice would you give to a student beginning this course about (a) how to design a function, and (b) how to prepare for this course? I think csc104 is a great course, and I will recommend every one to take this course if possible. Because I think they will be able to learn a lot of computer language knowledge through this course. I have three advices to student beginning this course, the first one is go to your lecture weekly, at beginning of the year I missed couple lecture, which directly caused me get a bad mark on my quiz, and csc104’s quiz worth a lot, which will effect my course mark. The second advice is try to write you weekly excises on paper, because quiz and test is on paper, know how to write function on paper is very important. My third advice is try to do your assignment by your self first, then work with your partner, because assignment will really help you to improve your csc104 skill, and if you relay to much on your partner you will

– How are you preparing for the quizzes/tests? I preparing by reading through weekly excises and go to EZ4 review section, also I use DrRacket to understand the step for every csc104 equations, and understand all csc104 vocabulary before quizzes and tests. – Are there any images you've made, or even functions to create images, that you enjoyed or are proud of? Yes, I find out making images very fun, and I am proud of creating images which is make an image to an image pyramid, I find out make my own pyramid very interesting and unique. – Are there things you initially found hard or intimidating, but now understand? – Why did you choose CSC104? What do you hope to get out of the course? The reason that I choose CSC104 is because I want to learn more about computer science ， and be more prepare for CSC108 in the future, because I have never taking computer science course before, I hope to get out with some basic computer science understanding. – What did you expect programming to be like, and how does it compare with your experience in the course so far?
